The issue of chemical storage safety has garnered significant attention in the industry. Liansuo Building Technology has recently launched an FM-certified explosion-relief container specifically designed for storing flammable and explosive chemicals. This innovative product is a structurally reinforced modification of a standard container, fully compliant with FM Data Sheets 1-44 and 7-29, as well as public hazardous materials storage and handling standards. This groundbreaking solution marks a milestone in chemical storage safety.
Liansuo Building Technology stated that the model LS-20GP01 container measures 6058mm x 2438mm x 2591mm and is designed for the storage and distribution of flammable liquids, compressed gases, chemicals, and fertilizers. It sets a new benchmark for chemical storage safety and leads the way in international safety standards.
Notably, the container features 120mm-thick embedded sandwich wall panels, with each panel providing an explosion-relief area of 2.18 square meters, fully meeting the design requirements of FM 1-44 standards. Its high load-bearing capacity enables it to withstand challenges such as strong winds, snow loads, and floor loads while effectively resisting corrosion, water seepage, and various weather changes. The secondary containment system ensures that any chemical leaks during accidents can be quickly controlled, significantly reducing environmental pollution risks and safeguarding both the surrounding environment and personnel safety.
It is worth mentioning that this container is suitable for indoor and outdoor storage of six categories of hazardous materials. The container body is made of Class A fire-resistant materials with a three-hour fire resistance rating. Additionally, a 150mm-high containment barrier can be installed at the base of the container, along with liquid collection facilities to ensure compliance with the highest safety standards for storage areas.
